The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be contacted at: privacy@dos.design.

Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis
Personal data contained within a report of misconduct, and any data subsequently collected during the necessary investigations, are processed by the Supervisory Body (Organismo di Vigilanza) for the sole purpose of managing the report and providing the required feedback, as mandated by law. The whistleblower’s personal data are protected by statutory confidentiality obligations and are processed exclusively under the conditions provided therein. The legal basis for processing is found in Art. 6, par. 1, let. c) of EU Reg. 2016/679 (GDPR), as it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.

Data Recipients
The reporting channel is provided by Whistlelink, which is appointed as the Data Processor. In compliance with confidentiality obligations designed to protect the whistleblower, the collected data may be transmitted to the competent Judicial Authorities.

Retention Period
Data related to a report and all relevant documentation are stored for 5 years from the date the outcome of the reporting procedure is communicated.

Rights of the Data Subjects
The rights generally granted to data subjects (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, etc.) may be exercised within the limits established by Art. 2-undecies of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003. Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) by following the instructions on the Authority’s website (www.garanteprivacy.it).
